Why Be Nice?

Sometimes at the end of the day I'm simply exhausted by my world. It seems there is too much sarcasm, too much rudeness, too much flaming.

I need a safe haven where people are nice. I want to be treated nicely and I want others to be nice to me. Please and Thank You are not words reserved for kids in kindergarten learning good manners. Smiles are not endangered commodities. Kindness is not old fashioned. Rants, though popular, are not becoming.
